Daryl Burrow, Manager of ShoeZone took part in the London Marathon on Sunday 22nd April.

Daryl is running to raise money for clicsargent.co.uk, a children’s cancer charity.
Daryl completed the marathon in 5 hours 59 minutes. He said ‘It was the best experience of my entire life and I feel I have achieved huge amounts both personally and for the charity. He ran and didn’t stop until mile 19 at which point his body gave in, then he heard someone shouting ‘Come on Daryl, you can do it’. This one voice helped him find the energy he was completely depleted of and he managed to get his feet running again. Daryl added ‘The crowd really helped pull me along, the whole experience was uplifting. Crossing the line was very emotional and I would recommend it to anyone’.
