Recognised by LOCOG as the biggest community event of the London 2012 Festival closing celebration, the Bandstand Marathon is coming to the Walnuts.
Taking place on 9th September 2012 between 1pm – 5pm, this will be a national event linking local communities and London 2012. The Bandstand are working in partnership with the Department of Communities and Local Government and Making Music to bring a fresh, bright and exciting four-hour musical extravaganza.
The Bandstand Marathon is also part of the Showtime Festival presented by the Mayor of London.
