‘Feeding their faces for funds – Subway eats up for Comic Relief’

Subway at Walnuts Shopping Centre in Orpington will be pulling out the stops for charity on Friday 13th March in a hilarious stunt for Comic Relief.

Manager Bayo Oyelese and his colleagues Michael Biggs and Harry Wines will be dressing as women and tucking into a giant 6ft mega sub!

Bayo commented: “We are aiming to raise £700 for Comic Relief and we hope lots of people will sponsor us and help us to raise money for this very worthy cause.  I’m sure it will be very funny and we are looking forward to having lots of spectators laughing out loud!”

Comic Relief was launched on Christmas Day 1985 with the first Red Nose Day Event in 1988 raising £15 million for the charity.  Since then a staggering £240 million has be raised to fund projects across the UK, Africa and throughout some of the world´s poorest countries changing lives and helping people in desperate need.
