Walnuts Shopping Centre will be raising money for a very worthy charity throughout March with their ‘Message for your Mum’ event.
Visitors to Walnuts Shopping Centre will be able to make a donation to Bromley Welcare and in return write a special message to their mum, which will be displayed at the Centre over the Mother’s Day weekend.
Bromley Welcare is a family support charity specialising in work with families in need in the London Borough of Bromley. They help children and families affected by family problems, isolation and poverty. Bromley Welcare offers a holistic service and works with families in a non-judgemental way.
Martin Price, Centre Manager at Walnuts Shopping Centre commented: “All mums are special and we wanted to offer our shoppers something a bit different for Mother’s Day. We hope lots of people will get involved and make a donation to Bromley Welcare, a very worthy cause.”
The Bromley Welcare collection boxes will be placed inside selected outlets and pink message cards will be provided in return for a donation at A Time for Flowers, F Hinds, The Gift Outlet, Thorntons and Tone Clothing. Bromley Welcare will also be at Walnuts promoting the event on Tuesday 10th, Friday 13th and Tuesday 17th March.
Once your special message is complete, simply post it into the Walnuts ‘Message for your Mum’ box based in the main atrium.
Messages will be accepted from Monday 9th March until Thursday 19th March. All messages will be displayed at the Centre in the main atrium between Friday 20th and Monday 23rd March.
