Artwork by Dame Kelly Holmes to be exhibited at Artstyle

A piece of artwork by British Olympian, Dame Kelly Holmes will be exhibited and auctioned at ArtStyle, Walnuts Shopping Centre, Orpington over Friday 26th and Saturday 27th August from 9am to 5.30pm.
 
The piece was given to the Princess Royal University Hospital, Farnborough as a gift to use for a charity event. 
 
The artwork by Dame Kelly will feature among an array of pieces by children with cancer, hospital staff and consultants from the Princess Royal University Hospital as well as established artist, Neil Chapman. All of the artwork being exhibited will be on sale over the two days with all proceeds going to the Play Unit of the Hospital.
 
Yvonne Devine, owner of ArtStyle commented: “It is an honour and delight to exhibit artwork from a talent such as Dame Kelly Holmes. She is an amazing athlete and to offer someone the chance to own a piece of art by her is fantastic.” 
 
Yvonne continued: “The children at the Princess Royal Hospital have produced beautiful pieces of art and clearly show skills in artistry. We are thoroughly excited about the exhibition and hope to raise as much money as possible for the Play Unit at the hospital.”
 
Martin Price, Centre Manager at the Walnuts Shopping Centre commented: “We are over the moon to hear that a piece of art by Dame Kelly Holmes will be featured in a store within our Centre. Dame Kelly is a huge inspiration to so many people across the country, particularly within sport. It will be nice to see her inspire others, first hand, in a new talent.”
