On Wednesday 23rd November the Walnuts Shopping Centre hosted their festive fashion show and Christmas craft fair.
Models from Orpington College and the centre staff took to the catwalk, full of fantastic ideas to make shoppers look glamorous during the upcoming Christmas party season. Peacocks, Tone Clothing, New Look and M&Co showcased their ranges to the adoring crowds.
Kent based girl band and contestants on this year’s X Factor, One Step Beyond also took to the stage performing to fans existing and new.
The evening event played host to local craft stalls offering the perfect Christmas gifts including:
- Handmade jewellery
- Handmade home treasures
- Homemade cakes and pastries
To ensure that there was something for the whole family to enjoy the there was also some great funfair rides for the younger shoppers.
Martin Price, Centre Manager at Walnuts Shopping Centre, commented: “It was a great evening which everyone who attended seemed to enjoy. It's always nice to have something different in the centre at this time of year, enabling our visitors to have a little break from the Christmas shopping."
