Bella Italia Signs!

Miller Developments has announced that Bella Italia is the latest occupier to sign for the Crown House retail and leisure scheme in Orpington, Kent, where construction is well under way for a June 2015 handover to tenants.

The Italian dining chain is the first restaurant to commit to the £12m development, which is an extension of the adjacent Walnuts Shopping Centre.  Bella Italia has agreed to let a 3,400 sq ft unit on a 20 year term and is expected to open by autumn 2015, along with a seven-screen Odeon cinema.

The 65,000 sq ft Crown House scheme is now over 80% pre-let, with Odeon, Pure Gym and B&M Retail already committed and another restaurant under offer.

A planning application for a 61-bed Premier Inn is being considered by Bromley Council with an outcome expected shortly.  Should consent be obtained, construction of the hotel will commence soon after.

Prime Retail and Kitchen La Frenais Morgan are joint letting agents for the Crown House development, which is owned by Garden Property and asses managed by Vale Retail.  Miller Developments is the development manager.

Garden Property is a Jersey Island company backed by Kuwaiti investors and advised by Kout Capital.
